(U) The Space Surveillance Network Improvement Program (SSNIP) is a continuing level-of-effort O&M activity for supportability, maintainability, and correction of identified deficiencies.

(U) The Space Surveillance Network Improvement Program (SSNIP) is a continuing level-of-effort O&M activity for supportability, maintainability, and correction of identified deficiencies. SSNIP efforts currently include uncorrelated target (UCT) errors reduction, orbital debris measurement and research, communications/data link optimization, system architecture analyses, and modifications to GEODSS.

User Impact (U):

(U) Loss or reduction in scope of the SSNIP would have a significant impact on the deep space surveillance mission and maintenance of the space catalogue.
