(U) The Optical C3F (formerly known as ISOC: Integrated Space Operations Center) is a proposed concept of centralized processing for all optical sensor assets. Dynamic and more efficient track scheduling will reduce response timelines, improve SOI collection, and increase track capacity. The C3F is being built under the GMP contract and is expected to achieve IOC in Jan 98. In addition to being a centralized location for the three current GEODSS sites, it will be capable of servicing relocatable GEODSS, TOS, and some twenty other systems. This facility is being built at Edwards AFB, CA.
(U) Loss of this capability would have a significant impact on the Space Surveillance Network (SNN).
(U) Programmed.
