(U) Consolidated Space Operations Centers (CSOC)

Description (U):

(U) The Central Sensor Operations Centers (CSOC) provide for intermediate compilation and disseminate C2 information as well as data to and from sensors of like phenomenologies or locations. Currently, one processing node of this type is operational. The 2nd Command And Control Squadron (2CACS) is the central node for the passive RF sensors. Two more nodes are planned. These two processing nodes are the Optical Combined Command and Control Facility (OC3F) (central node for the E-O sensors), and the Maui Space Surveillance System (MSSS) (central node for Maui-based systems). The E-O sensors include GEODSS, MOTIF, AMOS, the programmed Transportable Optical System (TOS) and the Advance E-O System (AEOS).

(U) Loss of this capability would have a significant impact on the Space Surveillance Network (SNN).
