Overview (U):(U) The Survivable Communications Integration System (SCIS) provides multiple survivable communications capabilities between missile warning sensors, command centers, and other users. |
(U) The Survivable Communications Integration System (SCIS) ensures missile warning and limited air warning message accountability, integrity, and survivability through all phases of conflict.
(U) SCIS ensures survivable communication connectivity from the Cheyenne Mountain Complex (CMC). It supports the Commander-in-Chief of North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Space Command (CINCNORAD/USCINCSPACE) in providing the National Command Authorities (NCA), U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) and other forward users with early warning and assessment of missile, air and space attack on North America or U.S. allies.
