Overview (U):

(U) Coronal imager, CME imager, coronagraph, magnetograph from 30 to 90 degrees ahead of or behind the Earth; in-situ solar wind plasma and magnetic field and magnetospheric imaging. The broad objective of the mission would be to understand solar activity well enough to predict eruptions and, once an eruption has been detected, to be able to predict its consequences for Earth.
